Parking Consultants, LLC was founded in 2006 by Paul D. Mack, P.E. and Melissa Baughman, both life-long residents of the Denver regional area. Mr. Mack has twelve years of experience in the local parking industry, and Mrs. Baughman has considerable knowledge in general construction, and parking equipment. Parking Consultants is engaged solely in the business of providing consulting services related to the design, contruction and operation of parking facilities.
Based in Denver, Colorado, Parking Consultants provides consulting services throughout the Rocky Mountain region of the United States. The firm primarily focuses on the functional and operational aspects of parking design management; aiding architects, engineers, building owners, developers, municipalities, institutions, and parking management companies with expert advice. Our Team Members
Paul Mack, PE, FPCI
During the past 35 years Mr. Mack has designed and consulted on hundreds of parking projects in the Rocky Mountain region. As seen on his impressive resume, he has 24 years of experience in structural engineering in the precast/prestressed concrete industry where he was the Specialty Engineer-of-Record for more than 800 projects, some 240 of which were parking structures. In addition, he has 12 years experience in parking consulting with a nationally recognized firm, where he served an 11-state area. Because of this, he has extensive experience with all aspects of the local and regional parking industry, both from a design and construction standpoint, including knowledge of local building and zoning codes, construction techniques, construction costs, operational costs, and management strategies.

Melissa Baughman, CEO
Melissa is responsible for company quality assurance in conjunction with technical and administrative operations. Her background includes specifying and managing the installation of a wide variety of controls and security equipment. She is familiar with parking access and revenue control equipment including pay-on-foot, pay and dispay, automatic vehicle identification, proximity cards, swipe cards, and more. Melissa is also competent in parking studies and functional design. She is a trained Project Manager who enjoys developing relationships and keeping clients satisfied, with a reputation for problem solving, job site inspections, and clearing punch-lists in a timely manner.
